Cornish folklore dating back to the early 1700s tells of a time, during the reign of King Arthur, when a two-headed giant named Thunderdell terrorised the people of Cornwall. A Cornish farmer’s son named Jack, who had been knighted by Arthur for his heroic deeds, cunningly deceived the giant and trapped him in a moat, where Jack beheaded him and thus ended his tyranny.
Beheaded is our strongest ale; dark and deceptive with a smooth, slightly sweet first impression and none of the alcoholic twang often associated with strong beers. Its complex, indulgent flavour is legendary.
You can buy Beheaded online in cases of 12 x 500ml bottles as well as in 10 Litre and 20 Litre polypins – ideal for enjoying the perfect pint of draught ale in the comfort of your own home.
